Why choose us
What makes us different from other Perth home modification builders
There are other builders in Perth who will do accessibility work. Here is what is different about how we do it - specific, honest differences, not marketing language.
The real differences
Five things that distinguish AccessAble from the alternatives
Accessibility is all we do
A general builder who takes accessibility jobs has done a handful. We have done hundreds, and only this. That difference shows up in the details - the angle a grab rail needs to be at to actually steady someone coming out of the shower, the slope a floor needs to drain without leaving a puddle, the minimum turning circle a wheelchair user actually needs versus the one that looks right on a plan. You learn those things by doing them repeatedly, not by reading a standard.
We design it and build it - no hand-off gap
Most competitors in this space are assessment or therapy providers who then subcontract the build. That creates a gap where the design gets handed to a builder who was not in the room when it was decided, and who may not share the same understanding of what the modification is supposed to achieve. We are one team. The person who walks your home and works out what needs changing is the same team who carries out the work. There is no translation layer, no one else to blame, and no waiting for a second organisation to schedule their part of the job.
Work starts in weeks, not months
The approval and assessment process that other providers require before a builder is even engaged can run for months. We do not have that process. After the site visit you receive a written scope and fixed price. Once you confirm, we book the start date. The time from first phone call to work beginning on your home is typically measured in weeks. For a lot of the people we work with - someone coming home after a hospital admission, someone whose mobility has deteriorated quickly - weeks matters enormously.
Finishes that match your home
Accessibility modifications in other people's hands often end up looking like what they are: clinical hardware added to a domestic space. White grab rails on white tiles. A plastic shower seat that announces itself from the doorway. We think that matters - not for aesthetic reasons alone, but because modifications that look institutional are modifications people resist using. Tiles, tapware, rails and door hardware get chosen to sit within your home's existing character. The goal is a room that looks like it was always designed this way.
Fixed pricing, no surprises
After the site visit we give you a written scope with a fixed price. Not a range, not an estimate subject to variation - a fixed price for the job as described. If we find something behind a wall that genuinely changes what the job requires, we tell you about it before we touch it and give you the options. You do not receive a bill larger than the one you agreed to.

$149 home safety audit
We walk through your home, find the trip and fall risks, and give you a written list of what to fix first. The written report is yours regardless of whether you proceed. The $149 is refunded in full if you do.
Book a safety auditWhat we are not
We are an accessibility modification builder. That is a specific scope, and being clear about it helps you decide whether we are the right choice.
We are not a general building company. We do not take bathroom renovations for people who simply want a new look, or kitchen rebuilds, or extensions. The team is optimised for accessibility work specifically.
We are not an assessment or therapy service. We do not require an occupational therapist report before we can begin. If you already have one, we will read it carefully and work to it. If you do not, the site visit gives us what we need. We will never send you off to get a report as a precondition.
Who we work with most
- Older Australians who want to stay in the home they already know, and need to make it safer to do so
- People living with disability who want a home that fits how they actually move
- Families and carers arranging modifications on behalf of a parent or someone they look after
- People coming home after a hospital stay who need the home ready before they are discharged
- Homeowners whose situation has changed - a fall, a diagnosis, a new wheelchair - and need to act quickly

Talk to someone who has used us
Our Google reviews are below, straight from Google rather than picked out by us. They are the fastest way to see what the work is like from the other side of it.
If you would rather hear it in person, ask us on the phone call. We can sometimes connect you with a past client who is happy to speak directly - that is a better signal than any testimonial block.
