What we do

Accessibility modifications for Perth homes

Every job is designed and built by our own team in Perth. One quote, one crew, one timeline - no waiting on a third party to start.

Most people come to us with one room in mind. Others need a full review of the home. Either way, we start with a conversation - not a clipboard.

Bathrooms & showers

The room that causes the most falls, and the one that makes the biggest difference when it is done properly.

Finished accessible bathroom in a Perth home after conversion, with a level shower floor draining to a floor waste, a grab rail by the door and a wall-hung basin

Accessible bathrooms

Full accessible bathroom design and build, in-house, by a team that has done this for over ten years across Perth.

  • You'll feel safer on your feet.
  • You'll have more room to move in your bathroom.
  • You'll have a more comfortable, easy height toilet.

Walk-in shower in a Perth home with no step, frameless glass screen, timber-look tiles and warm natural light through a frosted window

Walk-in showers

A shower you walk straight into - no step to clear, no screen to navigate around, and a floor that drains away from you.

  • You'll feel safer on your feet.
  • You'll have more room to move in your bathroom.
  • You'll have a bigger shower that you can sit down in.

Wet rooms

A wet room waterproofs the entire bathroom floor so there is no shower recess - the whole room is the shower zone.

  • The entire floor is the shower. There is no recess boundary - water can fall anywhere in the room and the floor drains it away.
  • No barriers at all. No hob, no threshold, no screen frame - the floor is completely continuous from the door inward.
  • Full waterproofing throughout. Every centimetre of floor and the lower section of every wall is waterproofed, not just the recess.

Non-slip treatments

Non-slip clear coating for your existing tiles.

  • The wet floor grips. Treated tiles hold your foot when there is water on them instead of letting it slide out from under you.
  • The tiles still look like your tiles. The treatment is clear, so the floor keeps its colour and pattern.
  • The front steps are safe in the rain. Outside concrete and tiles can have the same treatment, so the approach to the house stops being the weak link.

Kitchens

Bench heights, storage you can actually reach, and room to work sitting down if you need to.

A Perth kitchen with a lowered bench section and pull-out drawers open to show full-extension runners, warm timber cabinetry, afternoon light through a window, domestic and lived-in feel

Accessible kitchens

Kitchen changes that fix the specific thing beating you, from a set of drawers and a lever tap through to a lowered bench with knee clearance.

  • The bench is set to your body, not the catalogue. We measure your working height sitting or standing, then build to it rather than defaulting to the standard 900 mm.
  • Everything comes out to you. Drawers in place of base cupboards mean you never reach blind into the back of a shelf again.
  • The wall cupboards come back into use. A pull-down unit drops the lower shelf to bench height with one hand, or with a button if your shoulders will not take the pull.

Access & mobility

Getting in the front door, down the hallway and up the step, without help and without worry.

A non-slip wheelchair ramp running along the side of a Perth brick home to the front door, with timber posts and a galvanised handrail

Ramps & level entry

Rubber, timber, aluminium and concrete ramps built to the right gradient, from a door threshold to a full exterior ramp.

  • Steps are no longer a barrier into your own home. Ramps make it possible to more easily walk or wheel into your home, which removes the daily risk of what should be simply living.
  • Mobility aids can be used without assistance. A ramp built to the right gradient lets most wheelchair users self-propel without needing someone to push them over a lip or up a steep angle.

A widened bathroom doorway in a Perth home fitted with a cavity sliding door, wide enough for a wheelchair, with the shower and grab rail visible beyond

Doorway widening

Wider clear openings for wheelchair and walker access.

  • Every room in the home is reachable. Once the key doorways are widened, there is no room you cannot reach independently - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, laundry.
  • Manoeuvring is less stressful. A wider opening reduces the approach angle needed and takes the anxiety out of navigating through a doorway in a wheelchair.
  • The door still looks original. A properly finished widening with new architraves looks like part of the original house - not a patch over a hole.
