We Can Complete Any NDIS-Funded Accessibility Project

The NDIS, or National Disability Insurance Scheme, is a healthcare programme to help Australians with disabilities. The national rollout for NDIS was in July, 2016 so a LOT of people are still struggling to understand, let alone use, this system. So to help clear up some of the confusion, here are some answers to some common NDIS-related questions:
If you qualify for the programme, then yes, NDIS will fund and pay for some Accessibility Modifications including: Installing Wheelchair Ramps, Installing Accessible Appliance, Fixtures, or Safety Features, and more. Although there were some initial problems with payment to contractors, AccessAble Home Modifications is happy to complete any NDIS-funded project.
You do NOT have to accept the recommended contractor to complete your NDIS-funded Accessibility Project. AccessAble Home Modifications is licensed and insured to complete any NDIS-funded project and YOU can select us instead of the contractor recommended by the government.

If you have received approval for an NDIS-funded Accessibility Project that doesn’t cover a safety feature or modification you feel you need, just Contact Us and we’ll be happy to review and discuss your specific situation to see if we can help!

Our team of Accessibility Experts will be happy to review your NDIS paperwork and help you with any questions on selecting a contractor, what you qualify for, etc.
In fact, just contact us to schedule your $99 Safety Audit and we’ll be happy to review your paperwork and answer any NDIS-related question.
